2.0 Teaser: Netizens Upset with the VFX And Less Akshay Kumar Footage, All's Not Well

The much-awaited 2.0 teaser has hit the Internet and created buzz but not all positive. Shankar's 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar is supposed to be a grand VFX spectacle.  And, that in fact, is the reason why the film has been delayed time and again. The much-awaited 2.0 teaser was supposed to create news for all the right reasons but firstly Akshay Kumar who would be donning the role of Dr. Richard is hardly seen in the teaser, which has miffed some of his fans to an extent. Rajnikanth will be once again in dual roles of Chitti and Dr. Vaseegaran.

Netizens are also not too excited by the VFX they have experienced with the teaser. We suggest that they rather wait for the film to release and see it in theatres before jumping the gun on both their objections. Rumour has it that the VFX work cost an exorbitant Rs 550 crore! More than 3,000 technicians from across the world worked on the special effects exercise. 2.0 is also touted to be India's First 75 Million Dollar VFX Wonder. 2.0 is an upcoming Indian science fiction film produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, written and directed by S. Shankar and co-written by B. Jeyamohan. The film serves as a spiritual successor to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran. Amy Jackson plays the female lead. It is easily the most expensive Indian film made till date. The film is being shot and released in Tamil and Hindi, along with additional dubbed releases in 13 other languages. Click below to take a look at the 2.0 Hindi teaser:

Here are some of the people who are up in arms:

2.0 is expected to hit theatres on November 29- a date confirmed by Shankar- and we hope he meets the deadline. Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and even Arnold Schwarzenegger were supposed to grace the board but things didn't work out. The film is likely to have 4 songs and A R Rahman has composed the music for this widely-awaited film.
